Peak District Trail Running Events

Dark & White Trail Running Events are all based in and around the Peak District National Park, each event having a choice of long and short courses

All events have well designed routes on footpaths, tracks and trails which we hope will take you to places you never knew existed i.e. the ‘hidden’ Peak.

Suspension of Trail Running Events 2023

Dark & White 2023 event plans are currently on hold due to my (Oli, organiser/owner) continued battle with long covid. My condition has left me struggling with everyday life and am not fit and able to be working and organising events at this time.

I have recently been referred to the Long Covid Rehabilitation Clinic in Sheffield and am now working on a recovery plan to hopefully help me return to fitness. The process is a very slow and extremely gradual one, I am therefore in no position to say exactly when events will be able to resume, but am hopeful with my recovery being my sole focus I can return to good health as quickly as possible.

Wildest Peaks Cancellation UPDATE: The 2024 Wildest Peaks has now also had to be cancelled. All entrants who had initially had there entry transferred from 2023 to 2024 have been contacted by email about the cancellation– please see here for more information

I am sure that the temporary pause on events will come as disappointment for many of you, as I know how much you enjoy our events, but I do hope you can understand the situation. Thank you to everyone who has passed on their regards, it is much appreciated.

Our events will resume as soon as it is possible

In the event of any urgent enquiries or queries for the time being please contact adrian@darkandwhite.co.uk
